Engineer (E&I)

JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Location: Bijapur, Karnataka
Experience: 5–7 years
Salary Range: ₹40,000–₹90,000 per month
Project Duration: 3–6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project plans, technical specifications, and procedures.
• Monitor site execution of transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, cables, and associated electrical systems.
• Oversee electrical testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, and preparation for energization.
• Monitor contractor progress and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify deviations from approved drawings and procedures and coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and LOTO protocols.
• Maintain testing records, as-built drawings, punch lists, and completion documentation, supporting system handover to commissioning.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in power sector testing/ commissioning/maintenance is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, power distribution, and electrical testing.
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of LOTO, electrical safety, and energization procedures.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with project teams.

Compensation & Employment Terms

• Travel and accommodation will be arranged by the company or reimbursed as per agreed terms.
• Shift-based deployment may be required (including night shift), depending on project and commissioning requirements.
• The engagement is project-based for approximately 3–6 months. Continuation beyond the project duration is not guaranteed and will depend on business requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
