• System Architecture Design: Designing the architecture and specifications of embedded systems based on project requirements and constraints
• Embedded Software Development: Writing embedded software using programming languages like C, C++, or assembly language to control hardware and execute specific functions
• Hardware Integration: Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components, sensors, and peripherals
• Testing and Debugging: Conducting tests, debugging software, and troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues to ensure proper functionality
• Optimization: Optimizing embedded systems for performance, power consumption, and resource utilization
• Documentation: Creating documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical documents related to the embedded system
• Compliance and Standards: Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements related to embedded systems

Skills and Qualifications:

• Embedded Systems Knowledge: Understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and hardware-software interaction
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems like C, C++, or assembly language
• Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with hardware components, digital and analog circuits, sensors, and communication protocols (eg, SPI, I2C, UART)
• Debugging and Testing: Ability to use debugging tools and perform testing to identify and resolve issues in embedded systems
