Engineer - Engineering (Control and Instrumentation)

OVERVIEW

• Oversees the reliability and effectiveness of plant control system instrumentation through troubleshooting, modifications, repairs, and efficient team management. Enforces company rules, ISO 9001, and GMP requirements while standardizing procedures and leading breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan and coordinate all control system and instrumentation activities in the plant, including calibration, maintenance, installation, and testing.
2. Assign daily tasks to C&I personnel, oversee their work, and provide training and support to ensure effective performance.
3. Plan and assist in plant maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and attend promptly to machinery or equipment breakdowns.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in control systems, machinery automation, and process optimization.
5. Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement.
6. Review and update control system documentation, departmental procedures, and work instructions for accuracy and compliance.
7. Collaborate with internal and external regulatory inspectors to address and resolve any maintenance-related findings.
8. Prepare and submit required reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc) covering repairs, performance, resources, and budgets.
9. Conduct performance appraisals, develop subordinates, and ensure standardization across all tasks.
10. Implement and uphold health, safety, and quality standards in all activities and projects.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
2. Fresh graduate or minimum 3 years of experience in Control and Instrumentation field
3. Knowledge in sensor and wiring installation.
4. Knowledge in Programming for PLC (Ladder Diagram) — Siemens, Fatek.
