Engineering Executive responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing road maintenance operations including pothole repairs, resurfacing, and drainage cleaning. The role involves supervising contractors and maintenance crews on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards, and coordinating with local authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule road maintenance work including pothole repairs, resurfacing and drainage cleaning
- Supervise contractors and maintenance crew on-site
- Ensure works comply with specifications, safety standards and local authority requirements
- Monitor road conditions and identify areas needing repair
- Prepare reports, budgets and maintenance records
- Coordinate with local authorities including JKR Bintulu
- Manage emergency repair and dispatch Emergency Response Team (ERT) to prevent further landslide risks after heavy rains
- Ensure proper traffic management during maintenance work
