ENGINEER FOR PROCESS

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at Southern Cable Sdn Bhd in Kuala Ketil, Kedah. This full-time role is responsible for optimising and improving our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality outputs.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse and identify opportunities to enhance existing manufacturing processes
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate new processes and technologies
• Monitor and analyse process data to identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Provide technical support and guidance to production and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Contribute to the development of process documentation and training materials

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
• Minimum 1 years of experience in a Process Engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong technical expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in the use of process control systems, data analysis tools, and project management software
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
