Engineer I (Transmission)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a competent engineer to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting transmission equipment at hill-top site.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about transmission technology and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, installation, operation and maintenance of TV transmitters, microwave equipment at hill-top site, associated monitoring and control equipment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Electrical/Electronic/Communication discipline
• Experience on RF transmission equipment in terms of operation & maintenance
• Knowledge of Microwave / Digital TV transmission is preferred
• Knowledge in computer programming and new broadcast technologies would be a definite advantage
• Holder of Hong Kong Driving License class 1 & 2 is an advantage
• Fluent in Cantonese and good in written and spoken English would be a merit
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work under pressure
• Shift duty and outdoor work at hill-top sites are required
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as senior positions
