Engineer (Integrated Digital Systems)

The Role:

You will be responsible for supporting the management, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical digital systems, ensuring they operate effectively and meet operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop system architectures and technical solutions for complex digital systems.
• Gather and analyse user requirements to ensure solutions are aligned with business and operational needs.
• Conduct market research and technical evaluations of potential technologies and solutions.
• Support procurement activities, including technical evaluation and vendor assessment.
• Coordinate system implementation, testing, commissioning, and deployment activities.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage cybersecurity initiatives, including security controls, compliance monitoring, and policy implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security and operational requirements are met.
• Support system audits, security assessments, and incident investigation activities.
• Oversee maintenance and support activities to ensure systems achieve required performance and service standards.

What Are We Looking For?

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting the implementation or lifecycle management of large-scale technology systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of system architecture, networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
• Willingness to support after-hours activities when required and travel occasionally for project needs.
