Engineer (M&E Engineer/ Building Services Engineer)

About the role

Engineer (M&E Engineer/ Building Services Engineer) responsible for meeting and analyzing client needs, developing project timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The role involves preparing technical documents, advising on legal requirements related to mechanical & electrical engineering, conducting environmental impact assessments, and monitoring vendor and contractor work to ensure compliance with required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meeting and analyzing the client's needs to understand their project requirements, challenges, and goals
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Engage and collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and clients to ensure project success
• Prepare technical documents, reports, and manuals for projects and products
• Advise on legal requirements related to mechanical & electrical engineering, such as safety standards and environmental laws
• Conduct assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and recommend improvements
• Conduct research and advise clients to stay updated with the latest product, material, technological advancements and industry trends
• Monitor the work of vendors and contractors to ensure it meets required standards
• Based at HQ office in Shah Alam, Selangor and willing to travel across Malaysia

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
• Register with Board of Engineer Malaysia
• Minimum 2 – 4 years' experience in related field
• Customer-driven, result-oriented, strong networking with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Valid driving license
• Ability in using software like CAD (Computer-Aided Design) & Revit
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
