Job Summary

Responsible for operating, setting, and monitoring machines used in manufacturing processes, ensuring production targets, quality standards, machine safety, and timely completion of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, VMC, drilling, milling, grinding, cutting, and other production machines as required.
• Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to drawings and work instructions.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and identify abnormal conditions during operation.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
• Ensure components are manufactured according to required dimensions and quality standards.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain proper machine settings and tooling conditions.
• Carry out routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Report machine breakdowns, tooling problems, and quality issues to the supervisor/maintenance team.
• Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine operation records.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams.
• Minimize material wastage, rejection, and machine downtime.

Pay: ₹15,795.58 - ₹20,232.62 per month
