Engineer, Mold Desgin

What You Will Do

• New product concept and process review to support product design
• Concept tooling or new tooling DFM preparation
• Mold Quotation(including tooling cost, cavity, cycle time, process design, machine selection etc.)
• New mold 3D&2Ddesign
• New mold debug(FAI)
• New mold qualification(Q-RUN)
• Work with PE for TQCP &WI preparation
• Work with PE for COPQ Reduction
• Technical support for outsourcing vender

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) University/College

Major in mechanical engineering, plastic engineering, tooling design etc.

Familiar with NX design software

Basic molding process experience

Basic Product design / application concept

Good engineering management skill to meet cost / quality / lead time requirement

Good English speaking and writing capability

Basic skill of office software.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Familiar with the mechanical design like the special jig design, automation feeding system design for O/M.
• Familiar with all manufacture process of connectors like Molding,stamping,plating,assembly etc.
• Familiar with connector application .
