About the role

We are seeking an Engineer (Multiple Section) to join our team on a full-time basis at our office in Batu Berendam, Melaka. This is a strategic position within our electrical and electronic engineering division, where you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions across multiple technical sections. You will contribute to diverse projects and work alongside experienced engineers, collaborating to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovation within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical and electronic engineering solutions across multiple project sections
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and documentation using CAD and other engineering software
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support project planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical requirements, quality standards and timelines
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting and validation to identify and resolve technical issues
• Maintain compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
• Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation within engineering operations
• Participate in project meetings and present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in electrical and electronic engineering design, development or project execution
• Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, MATLAB or similar tools
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design and electronic systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and industry best practices
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or willingness to pursue professional certification is advantageous
• Experience working on multiple concurrent projects across different technical sections is preferred
