Job Description

• Responsible for using various techniques to perform on-site welding inspection and non-destructive testing of welds, components, and structures without causing damage including but not limited to ultrasonic testing, radiography, magnetic particle testing, visual inspection or liquid penetrant testing.
• Complete test and inspection report.
• Ensure the integrity and reliability of welds.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Report any deviation of test method or procedure when performing test.
• Report any undue influence from customer or their representative on the test procedure and the result.
• Ensure the test equipment used is checked, cleaned and maintained in good condition.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Superior from time to time.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Engineering, Physics or related disciplines.
• Must be a holder of PCN Level 2 or ISO 9712: Level 2 assessment or above.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant work experience.
• Attention to detail, knowledge of testing procedures, and the ability to interpret results are crucial in this role.
• Work independently, can manage tasks and time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to be assigned in multiple projects at site locations.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Engineer.
