Engineer – Packaging & Process Improvement

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions, materials, and process layouts to meet customer and project requirements.
• Conduct packaging testing and validation to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Prepare and provide engineering drawings and BOMs for Procurement, Production, and Sales sections.
• Analyze customer requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and translate into detailed work instructions for operation teams.
• Support continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost reduction through engineering analysis and innovation.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, equipment layout, and line balancing.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Operation, and Quality teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in new project implementation, technical trials, and problem-solving with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentation materials for internal reviews or customer submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, Logistics, or related fields.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and 2D/3D design software.
• Systematic, analytical, and logical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Able to travel within Central and Eastern areas and work on-site when required.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
• Own a car and valid driving license.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in packaging design, process improvement, AutoCAD, time study, line balancing, or automotive projects will be highly considered.
