Engineer Planning

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and progress measurement reports.
• Monitor site activities and compare actual progress against planned schedules.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Identify schedule delays, potential risks, and critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, and productivity analyses.
• Track project milestones, key deliverables, and work-front availability to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor resource utilization, including manpower, equipment, and materials, and recommend optimization measures.
• Participate in progress review meetings with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
• Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure all project activities are accurately reflected in the schedule.
• Perform delay analysis and assist in the preparation of recovery and mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with project planning procedures, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with site teams to obtain accurate progress updates and forecast future activities.
• Generate planning reports and dashboards for project management decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 -10 years of planning and scheduling experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Refinery, Petrochemical, Infrastructure, or Construction projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, project controls, critical path analysis, and resource planning.
• Experience in progress monitoring, delay analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with WBS, S-Curves, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project control methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• GCC project experience preferred.
