Job Purpose: The candidate shall be responsible for Managing purchase function for material handling machine manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for:

• Procurement activities to performto execute production activity in time.

• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships through Vendor Development.

• Purchase order making for all purchases. I.e. vendor developed items, brought-out items etc.

• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms

• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services

• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

• Examine and test existing contracts.

• Use of Company ERPto take all data in to system.

• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

• Collaborate with key persons in production / Design to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.

• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.

• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

• Need to perform any additional task given by management time to time

Requisite Skills:

• Understanding of Technical Design Drawings, MS office skills. i.e. MS Excel.

• Strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

• Analytical skills

• Interpersonal Skills

• People Skills

Desired Skills:

• Good Verbal & Written communication.

• Proactive.

Education:

Graduate. Preferred in BE mechanical.

Relevant Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years from Procurement in industrial Production.

Monthly Salary (CTC):

25000-30000
