Engineer - Product Verification and Validation

What you’ll do:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.

2. Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for embedded and industrial automation products.

3. Support PLC application testing and validation using CODESYS and Structured Text.

4. Validate industrial communication protocols including Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, EtherCAT, BACnet, RS485, and CAN.

5. Analyze test failures and collaborate with firmware, software, and system engineers to identify root causes.

6. Contribute to automation framework enhancements and test infrastructure improvements.

7. Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

8. Create and maintain test documentation, test reports, and validation artifacts.

9. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and defect triage.

10. Support adoption of modern testing methodologies and AI-enabled automation practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in embedded firmware testing, industrial automation, PLC testing, or test automation development.

Skills:

Hands-on experience in embedded firmware validation, industrial automation testing, and test automation development. Experience in designing, developing, and executing Python-based automated test solutions using Pytest. Exposure to PLC programming and testing using CODESYS and IEC 61131-3 Structured Text (ST). Good understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, EtherCAT, BACnet, RS485, and CAN.

Experience in developing automated test scripts is a plus, validating embedded and industrial automation products, analyzing test failures, and supporting firmware and system engineering teams. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, Agile development methodologies, and modern software quality practices. Exposure to AI-assisted testing and automation techniques is an added advantage.
