Engineer, Production Engineering (Checker Development)

About the role

Manage Checker Development functions to ensure that testing process is efficient and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of testing equipment to support demand.
• Manage the maintenance system of testing equipment, jigs and fixtures.
• Develop new checker / test equipment to fulfill new product requirement.
• Ensure all test programs are accurate, updated, verified and controlled.
• Review new product design to ensure good testability and propose improvement. Update DFT to ensure PCB reliability.
• Liaise with suppliers on the requirements and standards of test equipment, jig and fixture designs.
• Lead in efforts to improve checker reliability, capability and productivity.
• Develop teams of supervisors and technicians to work effectively in respective Checker Development functions.
• Review and report on performance of Checker Development functions in achieving targets.
• Liaise with relevant personnel from related departments for matters affecting Checker Development performance.
