Job Title: Engineer - Purchase
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition (PRQ) to Payment
- Source materials as per specifications at competitive pricing and quality standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure timely delivery
Key Skills :
- Good knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes
- Understanding of tool costing and cost estimation techniques
- Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, etc.)
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Finance)
- Maintain proper documentation and procurement records
