ENGINEER - PURCHASE

Productivity (P):

1. Release POs as per MRP/PPC plan.
2. Monitor supplier schedules and follow up daily.
3. Develop alternate suppliers for critical items.
4. Reduce emergency purchases and line stoppages

Quality (Q):

1. Source only from approved suppliers.
2. Resolve supplier quality issues with QA.
3. Monitor supplier PPM/rejection trends.
4. Ensure compliance with material specifications and documentation.

Cost (C):

1. Negotiate prices and commercial terms.
2. Implement value engineering/value analysis (VE/VA).
3. Improve payment terms.
4. Track market price trends and identify savings opportunities

Delivery (D):

1. Track supplier OTD.
2. Expedite critical materials.
3. Coordinate with PPC, Stores, and suppliers.
4. Resolve supply chain issues proactively

Safety (S):

• Ensure safety of Man & Machines.
• Ensure identification and removal of safety hazards and safety hazards producing   activities.
• Reduction of safety hazards by implementation of safety Poka yoke in process.
• Knowledge on Accident, Incident, safe assembly area
• Knowledge on Emergency evaluation, fire alarm, Mock drill etc.

Environment (E):

• Ensure Resources conservation for achieving Environmental performance.
• Focus on Zero Environmental Incident,
• Knowledge on Aspect impact and Significant impact,
• Knowledge on HIRA- Hazard identification and risk assessment
• Knowledge on OCP, Work instruction, EMP.

Morale (M):

• To facilitate Kaizen activities in Plant.
• Ensure implementation of good 5S on the shop floor & housekeeping practices.
• To motivate the associates by reward & reorganization.

ESG:

• Focus and reduce GHG Emsiion reduction in your process and activity
• Reduce water Conservation, Reduce Waste reduction
• Follow Organization Business ethics and code of Conduct and all ESG policy adherence
