Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure our products consistently meet customer requirements, internal specifications, and quality standards. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor product quality and resolve quality-related issues. You will analyse quality data, investigate non-conformities, and drive corrective actions to support continuous improvement. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Essential Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming materials and outgoing products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements before release or shipment.
• Review and validate quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and quality records.
• Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and quality incidents, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyse quality performance data, identify trends, and drive improvement initiatives to improve product quality and process performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in internal and external audits and support quality system improvements across the organization.

Other Responsibilities

• Review and improve quality procedures, workflows, and inspection processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support quality improvement projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as 7QC Tools, FMEA, RCA, CAPA, SPC, and statistical analysis methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of VBA, Power BI, or Python will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.

Travel Requirement

• Minimal travel (<10%) for customer visits, supplier audits, or quality-related activities.
