Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience in product design, engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and design development. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective and high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, production, quality, and procurement teams.
• Review and modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct design reviews and resolve engineering issues during production.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvement activities.
• Maintain engineering documentation, revision control, and design records.
• Meet project deadlines while ensuring accuracy and design quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Around 5 years of relevant design engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in relevant CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of engineering materials, design standards, and quality requirements.
• Good analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in product development and design optimization.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, and DFA.
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and engineering change management.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
