What they need
We’re hiring: Engineering & Operations Lead at Dreep
📍 Tel Aviv | Primarily office-based, with occasional flexibility to work remotely
Dreep is building a personalized nutrition system combining a smart countertop device, liquid supplement cartridges, and an AI-powered app.
We’re looking for a hands-on engineering and operations leader to take ownership of our device’s development and manufacturing execution—from prototype through pilot builds to production—and oversee vitamin production with our external suppliers.
Most engineering and manufacturing work is carried out by external partners. You’ll lead those partners, challenge technical decisions, solve problems, and keep quality, costs, and timelines aligned.
What you’ll own
Manage mechanical, electronics, prototyping, assembly, and manufacturing partners.
Drive the transition from prototype to reliable, repeatable production.
Review designs, drawings, bills of materials, and supplier proposals.
Coordinate design changes, testing, troubleshooting, and production documentation.
Own supplier selection, purchasing coordination, budgets, and delivery schedules.
Work with our software team on hardware–software integration.
Oversee the production of our vitamin formulations at external suppliers, coordinating production schedules, quality requirements, documentation, and delivery with our formulation and quality specialists.
Coordinate with cartridge and supplement specialists to ensure compatibility between the device, liquids, and packaging.
Work directly with the CEO, bringing clear recommendations on technical and operational decisions.
What we’re looking for
A background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience taking an electromechanical product from prototype into production.
Direct experience managing external engineering suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Strong mechanical understanding and the ability to work effectively with electronics and embedded-system specialists.
Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, assembly, testing, and quality.
Someone equally comfortable reviewing a technical design and following through on quotes, orders, schedules, and supplier issues.
An independent, hands-on approach suited to a small startup team.
Experience with pumps, fluid handling, precision dispensing, cartridges, or consumer appliances is a strong advantage. Prior experience with vitamins or supplements is not required —you’ll work with specialists while owning supplier coordination and production follow-through.
This is an opportunity to own a critical part of bringing a connected physical product to market, with real influence over how it is engineered, manufactured, and delivered.
