Where you'd work

Three very different working days

Nearly everything we make is made in Derby, and nearly everything we fit is fitted on a customer's site. Which of those your week looks like depends on the role.

The Derby workshops

Unit 2 at Pentagon Island: hose and pipe assemblies, power-pack build, tube bending and the Parker Store counter. Benches, callipers and a job that's finished when it's right.

Unit 6, the overhaul floor

The purpose-built rail overhaul facility we moved into in 2021, a few doors from the main site. Rolling stock components come in worn and leave tested, certified and fit for another life.

Out on customers' sites

Hose Doctor call-outs, HVAC installs, electrical work and servicing. A van, a region and somebody's plant standing still until you get there.
