Engineering Assistant (Biomedical Engineering)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the setup, operation, maintenance, and removal of medical equipment
• Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure maintenance work meets quality and safety standards
• Gather feedback from users on equipment performance and reliability
• Investigate equipment issues and support engineers in resolving them
• Ensure all work meets hospital quality and safety standards
• Manage spare parts and assist with inventory documentation
• Help coordinate medical equipment projects with vendors and contractors
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by Biomedical Engineers

Job Requirements:

• Preferably a Diploma in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering or equivalent engineering course
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication and people management skills
• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Possess basic knowledge on IT, such as Microsoft Office. Microsoft Excel
