ENGINEERING ASSISTANT

We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically capable, and technology-driven Engineering Assistant to support engineering, project, and operations activities. The ideal candidate must have an educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and should be comfortable working with technical documents, data, computer applications, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Job Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and project teams in the preparation, review, and organization of technical documents, reports, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Provide administrative and technical support for ongoing engineering, installation, maintenance, and project activities.
• Assist in monitoring project schedules, deliverables, material requirements, and work progress.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, technicians, project personnel, and other departments regarding engineering and project requirements.
• Assist in preparing quotations, material take-offs, technical comparisons, equipment schedules, and other engineering-related documentation.
• Maintain organized records of technical drawings, manuals, specifications, reports, and project files.
• Assist in conducting site inspections, measurements, documentation, and preparation of site reports when required.
• Encode, consolidate, and analyze engineering and operational data using spreadsheets and other digital tools.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, trackers, and dashboards for management and project monitoring.
• Conduct basic technical research on equipment, materials, technologies, suppliers, and engineering solutions.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and digital applications to improve research, documentation, data analysis, reporting, and overall work efficiency.
• Assist in monitoring equipment, materials, tools, and other engineering-related assets.
• Perform other engineering, project coordination, and technical support duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with relevant technical, project, construction, maintenance, or engineering support experience are an advantage.
• Engineering license is an advantage but not required, unless specifically required by the position's assigned responsibilities.
• Strong basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Computer savvy and highly comfortable using digital platforms, online tools, and modern productivity applications.
• Must be exposed to and comfortable with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar platforms for research, documentation, data organization, and productivity.
• Willing to continuously learn and explore new AI, automation, and digital technologies that can improve engineering and operational processes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, engineering software, or other technical design applications is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand basic engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, numerical, and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of handling multiple assignments.
• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with engineers, project teams, suppliers, and other departments.
• Willing to conduct site visits and fieldwork when necessary.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
