About the role

Hubble Restaurant is looking for a responsible and skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper operation of the restaurant's facilities, equipment, and building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of restaurant facilities and equipment.
• Maintain and repair AC Central/HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, water pumps, drainage, kitchen equipment, and other technical facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Respond to emergency technical issues and breakdowns.
• Monitor the condition of building facilities and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain engineering tools, equipment, and spare parts properly.
• Keep maintenance records and report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to company SOPs.
• Coordinate with external technicians or contractors when required.

About you

• Previous experience as an Engineer or Maintenance Technician, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry.
• Strong hands-on skills in AC Central / HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair various equipment, facilities, and technical systems.
• Able to identify the cause of problems and perform proper repairs independently.
• Experienced in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Able to handle urgent breakdowns and respond quickly to technical issues.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, water systems, pumps, drainage, and plumbing.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
