Engineering / Construction Surveyor

About the Role

Australia Farm Innovations, Inc. (AFI) is looking for a detail-oriented and field-driven Engineering / Construction Surveyor to support our engineering and construction projects. This role is responsible for construction setting-out, site verification, as-built surveys, and survey data management to ensure projects are built accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform construction mark-outs, setting-out, and site layout for ongoing projects.
• Verify site conditions, dimensions, and elevations before fabrication and construction.
• Conduct as-built surveys and identify discrepancies between actual site conditions and approved plans.
• Support Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams with accurate survey data and technical assistance.
• Operate survey equipment such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and UAV/Drone mapping systems.
• Coordinate survey information with Engineering and CAD teams to maintain accurate project documentation.
• Liaise with external Licensed Geodetic Engineers for statutory or cadastral survey requirements when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent hands-on construction survey experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of construction survey experience.
• Proven experience in construction setting-out, site layout, and site verification.
• Experience working on construction, industrial, fabrication, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Willing to travel and work on active project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Philippine Licensed Geodetic Engineer (preferred but not required).
• Experience with UAV/Drone mapping and photogrammetry.
• Experience supporting prefab, modular, industrial, or agricultural construction projects.
