When you join H2C, you become part of a team dedicated to creating "The Solution Today for a Better Tomorrow." Guided by our Vision, Mission, Values, and Behaviors, we work together with integrity, innovation, and accountability. At H2C, your work has a meaningful impact—today and for future generations.

H2C is seeking Design Engineering Supervisors for both the Electrical and Mechanical disciplines. These positions provide day-to-day oversight of engineering staff, support design development, and help ensure quality and compliance of engineering deliverables. The Supervisor assists in coordinating work, supporting operations and projects, and maintaining discipline-specific engineering practices. This role operates under the direction of the Design Engineering Manager and focuses on team execution rather than organization-wide leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineering staff, including mentoring, monitoring work progress, and reinforcing qualification/competency expectations.
  • Support planning and coordination of discipline-specific and multi-discipline design activities, including developing portions of scopes of work, design inputs, and schedule needs.
  • Ensure assigned design work adheres to applicable standards, codes, safety requirements, and configuration control processes.
  • Maintain discipline responsibility for drawing updates, CAD standards compliance, and orderly digital file management.
  • Provide technical support within the mechanical or electrical discipline, including system design assistance, equipment evaluations, wiring or piping methods, and integration of engineered controls.
  • Support Procurement Engineering and Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) activities by reviewing discipline-specific technical requirements for procurements.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining engineering procedures, standards, and work processes applicable to the assigned discipline.
  • Coordinate with external design service providers by supporting requirement development, reviewing deliverables, and providing feedback to managers.
  • Provide engineering support to operations, maintenance, construction projects, retrievals, and waste feed delivery activities as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with project engineering, nuclear safety, operations, maintenance, and other H2C engineering groups to support integrated design solutions.
  • May assist Managers with planning, forecasting, or limited account management activities, as delegated.
  • Encourage continuous improvement, good engineering practices, and effective problem-solving within the discipline team.

Six (6) years of related experience

Grade 20:

Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors.
