Engineering Development Senior Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
2. Assist HOD in negotiate pricing and terms of sale with customers, ensuring profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and fulfillment of obligations
3. Gather feedback from customers regarding product performance, service quality, and overall satisfaction, and work with internal teams to address issues, resolve complaints, and continuously improve customer experience
4. Receiving of customer order and input in U8 system – Supervise and if needed to be hand on.5
5. Overall administration person of U8 system
6. Pricing management in U8 system with approval from HOD.
7. Manage Sales Order creation in U8 system and liase with delivery team
8. Prepare Engineering proposal and presentation to customer/ supplier
9. Prepare project development master schedule & monitoring development according to customer timeline.
10. Act as the primary point of contact for customer, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner focusing on technical ,engineering and commercial matters
11. Prepare handover report for new project to transfer to mass production stage
12. Conduct project management from LOI stage until Initial stage control . (Tooling development, project related document, line trial and accuracy data submission.)
13. APQP document preparation and updating, BOM preparation, updating , verification and registration.
14. Manage and execute engineering changes for the product
15. CFT project leader for all new development and customer project15.
16. Any other task assign by HOD which is related to sales ,marketing, engineering and business development.

Job Requirements

1. Possess minimum Bachelor's degree in Automotive , Mechanical Engineering
2. Proven experience in Project management, product development, candidate with PMP certificate is a plus.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
4. Proficient in engineering software such as CATIA and UG or relevant tools.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
