Engineering Director

About the role

Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific projects and construction. Work closely with upper management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, within budget and meets objectives. Ensure that everyone is doing their jobs properly with high teamwork spirit and using the most efficient resources. Direct the integration of technical activities and evaluate the return of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project and construction
• Work closely with upper management to ensure scope and direction of each project is on schedule, within budget and meets objectives
• Ensure high teamwork spirit and efficient use of resources
• Direct the integration of technical activities and evaluate project returns
• Lead all activities related to user requirement specification, qualification of installation, operating and performance
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance, repair and overhaul of facilities, building, machine, equipment, and power generator in accordance with TPM
• Develop and implement strategy, policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work
• Review and write M&E reports and enforce rules
• Assist Management in making decisions about purchase of materials or services
• Prepare engineering preventive and maintenance annual budgets

About you

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering, equipment, TPM, construction, and systems maintenance, especially in manufacturing
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions
• Very good English literacy and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to influence cooperation from upper management, co-owners/customers, and other departments
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills
