Job description

Looking for a full time Draftsman to support manufacturing operations and engineering projects. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing environment.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 2-5+ Years of Experience in SolidWorks CAD program use

• Capable of reading 2D drawings and converting into 3D models

• Knowledge in industrial molding a plus

• Experience or capability in performing drafting and manufacturing support from start to finish (project organization, sourcing, drawings, and manufacturing process development)

• Good communication skills

Optional Experience/Skills:

• Material and vendor sourcing/screening

• Metal forming techniques and die design

• 2D CAM software programming

• GD&T

• Composite/rubber layup experience

• Metal finishing/coating

• Technical writing

• Converting loft data

Additional Information:

• On site only

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am to 3:30pm local time)

• Work Location: Blackstone, Virginia

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
