Engineering Facilities Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Engineering Facilities Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of SHG restaurant facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on, multi-site role that oversees preventive and corrective maintenance while partnering with Operations and other teams to minimize downtime and maintain high facility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of restaurant facilities, equipment, and utilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and promptly address maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with Operations on maintenance priorities and issues affecting store performance.
• Manage maintenance schedules, service providers, contractors, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with Procurement for materials, equipment, and contractor requirements.
• Work with Marketing on signage, installations, and other physical requirements.
• Lead and support the maintenance team while promoting safety, accountability, and preventive maintenance.

ABOUT YOU:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; licensed Engineer is an advantage
• With 7 years of experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or other multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and building systems.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems.
• Willing to travel daily for store visits and site inspections.
• Hands-on, highly mobile, and able to respond with a strong sense of urgency.
