Engineering (Facility Operations) Intern

About the role

Our Facilities Engineering team is the backbone of our manufacturing plant. Reporting directly to our Facilities Engineer, you will be on the floor, actively supporting the optimization, validation, and documentation of the critical systems that power a global FMCG facility. Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and improving Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ), ensuring machinery is installed correctly and operates at peak performance
• Prepare, study, and analyze technical process flows, helping the engineering team identify bottlenecks and utility optimization opportunities
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and critical engineering documentation that technicians will use daily
• Drive data collection efforts, utilizing digital tools to track facility performance and update the core engineering database

About you

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related technical field) from a reputable university
• Strong academic track record (CGPA of 3.2 and above preferred)
• Available to commit to a highly immersive internship for a minimum of 6 months
• Possess a solid understanding of basic mechanical or electrical engineering principles
• Highly adaptable and skilled in using collaborative tech tools, specifically Google Workspace (Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Forms)
• Analytical, curious, and willing to work on the shop floor to understand how complex facility systems operate
