Engineering Graduate Trainee (IANG Visa Holder Priority)

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist technical follow-up, document preparation, site coordination and testing support for railway AFC automatic fare collection systems.

2. Collaborate with R&D, engineering and project teams to carry out drawing verification, technical documentation, equipment commissioning and issue review.

3. Support MTR and local Hong Kong railway project delivery, including site construction coordination, progress tracking and cross-department communication.

4. Complete rotational training and professional learning according to company talent development framework to master core industry technologies and project workflows.

5. Support project record keeping, technical data analysis and after-sales maintenance liaison to build practical engineering experience.

6. Follow the company’s talent development plan, develop a long-term career in railway engineering and grow into professional engineers or project specialists.

Job Requirements

1. Academic & University Background

Bachelor’s degree or above, fresh graduates graduated within 2 years from recognised full-time Hong Kong universities, including HKMU, HSUHK, HKSYU, Chu Hai College, EdUHK, LU and 8 UGC-funded universities.

✅ Preference: Candidates with valid IANG visa or eligible to apply for IANG visa. Holders can work full-time in Hong Kong without employer-sponsored work visa.

❌ Part-time, short courses, exchange programmes or non-Hong Kong accredited qualifications are not accepted.

2. Relevant Engineering Majors

Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, Intelligent Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Embedded Systems and other related engineering disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

3. IANG visa already approved, available for immediate onboarding with no work visa constraints.

4.Bachelor or above in engineering with basic knowledge in electronics, mechatronics, automation or railway systems.

5. Familiar with Hong Kong workplace culture, able to work in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area with project travel.

6. Experience in campus engineering projects, hardware prototyping or technical competitions is an advantage.
