Engineering Internship

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting day-to-day engineering operations, automated equipment maintenance, system troubleshooting, and process improvement projects within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Support & Maintenance: Assist engineers in routine inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery, sensors, and control systems.
• Process & Automation Projects: Support the team in evaluating equipment performance, identifying root causes of machine downtime, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Testing & Commissioning: Help execute functional tests, line setups, and performance validation for mechanical and electronic components.
• Technical Documentation: Assist in preparing and updating CAD drawings, schematic diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and engineering reports.
• General Engineering Duties: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support daily manufacturing/plant operations.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering (or related fields such as Automation, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering).
• Internship Duration: Minimum internship period of 3 months or longer is preferred (candidates available for 4–6 months will be strongly considered).
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming, control systems, sensors, and actuators.
• Familiarity with CAD software and basic wiring/pneumatic schematics.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electronic integration.
• Soft Skills:
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving ability.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Pay: RM1,200.00 per month
