Engineering Lead

• Lead the design and development of technical solutions involving CCTV systems, edge devices, networking infrastructure, and cloud-connected platforms.

• Manage and support system integration activities, including:

  • IP cameras and Video Management Systems (VMS)
  • Access control systems
  • Wireless infrastructure and multi-site connectivity
  • Edge computing device installation and configuration
  • Structured cabling and hardware deployment

• Perform advanced troubleshooting across hardware, networking, software, and field deployment environments.

• Drive system configuration, performance optimization, testing, and technical improvements.

• Prepare technical diagrams, deployment documentation, and system specifications.

• Lead technical delivery for multiple concurrent government and enterprise projects.

• Work closely with customers to gather requirements, provide technical clarification, and support deployment planning.

• Conduct customer demonstrations, technical reviews, and issue escalation management.

• Ensure successful project execution through effective coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

• Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Provide technical guidance, task coordination, and support to engineering members.

• Manage resources, priorities, and execution plans across multiple projects.

• Work independently on-site and in office environments when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Experience in IP networking, wireless networking, and technical delivery roles.

• Strong experience in:

  • IP CCTV systems and VMS platforms
  • Networking technologies including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, and wireless connectivity
  • System integration and field troubleshooting
  • Server/PC hardware and Windows/Linux environments
  • IoT deployments and edge computing solutions

• Hands-on experience in CCTV, VMS, networking, or edge computing solutions.

• Experience leading small engineering or system integration teams.

• Ability to understand and communicate project delivery methodologies such as SIT, UAT, and rollout processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AI-based video analytics solutions.
• Experience in pre-sales, solution design, or technical consulting.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and architecture, such as AWS or Azure.
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge using Python/Linux.
• Relevant certifications in Networking, Security, Cloud, PMP, ITIL, or related fields.
• Valid driving licence is preferred for site deployment activities.
