About the Role

Exzon Plus is a specialist engineering insurance loss adjusting firm with over 20 years of experience serving domestic and international insurers and reinsurers across Thailand and the region.

We handle complex and high-value technical claims involving large industrial losses, construction and infrastructure projects, machinery breakdown, business interruption, energy-related incidents, catastrophe losses, and property damage investigations.

Engineering insurance loss adjusting is a specialist profession combining engineering knowledge, investigation, commercial analysis, and real-world problem solving in high-value incidents and projects.

We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our team as a Loss Adjuster. This is a hands-on technical and investigative role offering exposure to engineering failures, insurance investigations, forensic analysis, and large-scale loss assessments.

You will work closely with senior adjusters on live claims, develop strong analytical and reporting skills, and build a specialist career in a highly respected international field.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy investigation, problem-solving, site work, analytical thinking, and professional report writing rather than routine office-based engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

·        Conduct site investigations to determine the cause, nature, and extent of insured losses

·        Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and insurance policies

·        Gather factual evidence through site inspections, document reviews, interviews, and stakeholder discussions

·        Analyse technical evidence and policy coverage to support claim recommendations

·        Prepare clear, structured claim reports in English for insurers and reinsurers

·        Assist with claim quantum assessment and loss adjustment calculations

·        Liaise professionally with insurers, brokers, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and the insured

·        Participate in meetings and technical discussions regarding claim liability and repair methodology

·        Travel to loss sites throughout Thailand and occasionally neighbouring countries

Qualifications

·        Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines

·        1–5 years of practical engineering experience (strong fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

·        Good written and spoken English — report writing in English is a core requirement of this role

·        Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under time pressure

·        Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

·        Possession of a valid driving license and own transportation
