Engineering Management Trainee

About the role

TRIVO ELECTRONICS SDN BHD is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate fresh graduates to join our engineering teams in Senai, Johor. We welcome candidates with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering who are eager to begin their careers in the electronics manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on technical experience, develop engineering skills, and learn from experienced engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to contribute to production operations, equipment reliability, product quality, process improvement, and new project development.

Available Departments:

• Manufacturing Engineering (ME) – Equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.
• Test Engineering (TE) – Testing systems, tester setup, debugging, and test process improvement.
• Process Engineering (PE) – Manufacturing processes, process optimization, and new product introduction.
• Quality Engineering (QE) – Product quality assurance, process audits, and continuous improvement.
• Facility Engineering (FAC) – Factory utilities, facility systems, and infrastructure maintenance.

What you'll be doing

• Assist engineers in daily engineering activities, production support, and technical troubleshooting.
• Support equipment setup, maintenance, testing, and process improvement activities according to the assigned department.
• Participate in new product introduction, engineering changes, and manufacturing process development.
• Assist in identifying production issues, conducting basic root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
• Collect and analyse production, equipment, testing, or quality data to support engineering decisions.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, work instructions, reports, and technical records.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and other engineering teams to improve efficiency, product quality, and operational reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime, improve productivity, and minimize defects.
• Perform other engineering-related duties and projects assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant internship or manufacturing experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of engineering software or data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to learn, take initiative, and develop practical engineering skills.
• Responsible, proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work in Senai, Johor, and support production requirements when necessary.
