Engineering Manager, Applied AI

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Applied AI to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

In this role, you will lead and develop a software engineering team focused on applied AI work that supports client-facing solutions and delivery outcomes. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to guide technical execution, manage risk, and ensure high-quality client engagements. This position blends people leadership, technical design review, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-moving enterprise technology environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $285,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach engineers, providing actionable feedback
• Review technical designs and lead troubleshooting efforts for client projects
• Oversee client engagement relationships and stakeholder communications
• Plan team transitions and manage risk assessments
• Conduct interviews and onboard new engineers according to high standards
• Suggest improvements to team practices and share insights with the wider team

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing engineers and providing developmental feedback
• 5+ years in software engineering, particularly with design review experience
• Hands-on experience with Python programming
• Proven track record of delivering software in client environments
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and multi-agent systems
