Engineering Manager (Chinese Speaking)

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities for its Thailand factory. This role has a strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and process improvement. This role requires Chinese Speaking communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead NPI and new process introduction, from product development and trial production through to mass production.
• Coordinate with Chinese Engineering teams to understand technical requirements and transfer new products/processes to Thailand.
• Improve production processes, work instructions, line balancing, and productivity across Cutting, Sewing, Assembly, and Packaging.
• Lead engineering improvement and automation projects to improve efficiency, quality, and production cost.
• Manage equipment maintenance, OEE improvement, and technical problem-solving to reduce downtime.
• Support quality improvement, root cause analysis, and engineering solutions such as poka-yoke and jig improvement.
• Manage and develop the Engineering team and coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and other departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role.
• Strong experience in NPI / New Product Introduction and mass production transfer.
• Experience in assembly, sewing, textile, garment, automotive parts, or similar manufacturing is preferred.
• Chinese language proficiency.
