Overview Joby Metal is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead process development, new program introduction, and continuous improvement for aerospace precision components. In this role, you’ll guide technical decisions, ensure compliance with AS9100D and airworthiness requirements, and partner closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other functions to solve shop-floor challenges and support quality, delivery, and cost objectives. 【岗位职责】 1. 工艺开发与技术标准

• 领导新项目APQP，审核客户技术要求，并批准工艺方案、流程图、PFMEA和控制计划。
• 审核关键工序作业指导书、检验标准及刀具方案，确保工艺文件完整、清晰且可执行。
• 针对钛合金、高温合金等难加工材料及薄壁件，制定并验证切削参数、冷却方案及变形控制措施。 2. 新项目导入与跨部门协作
• 统筹新项目从报价到量产的技术导入，评估可制造性、成本、周期与资源需求。
• 协同生产、质量、采购等部门，推动尺寸偏差、表面缺陷、刀具异常等现场问题的根因分析与闭环。 3. 质量体系与适航符合性
• 确保工程文件（图纸、工艺卡片等）的受控、归档与追溯符合AS9100D要求。
• 主导技术相关NCR的根本原因分析，并验证纠正预防措施的有效性。
• 审核热处理、表面处理、无损检测等特殊过程的工艺符合性及外包技术协议。 4. 团队管理与技术沉淀
• 负责工程团队的任务分配、绩效管理及专业培养。
• 建立内部技术标准、经验库及典型案例，持续沉淀航空加工能力。
• 推动工艺优化与降本增效项目，例如优化切削参数、刀路和装夹方案。 Responsibilities
• Lead APQP for new programs, review customer technical requirements, and approve process plans, flow diagrams, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Review work instructions, inspection standards, and tooling strategies for critical operations to ensure documentation is complete, clear, and actionable.
• Define and validate cutting parameters, coolant strategies, and distortion control methods for hard-to-machine materials such as titanium alloys, nickel-based superalloys, and thin-walled parts.
• Own the technical launch of new programs from quoting through production ramp-up, evaluating manufacturability, cost, lead time, and resource needs.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other teams to drive root cause analysis and closure of issues such as dimensional variation, surface defects, and tooling problems.
• Ensure engineering documents, including drawings and process travelers/cards, are controlled, archived, and traceable in compliance with AS9100D.
• Lead root cause analysis for technical NCRs and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Review process compliance and outsourced technical agreements for special processes such as heat treatment, surface treatment, and NDT.
• Lead task assignment, performance management, and professional development for the engineering team.
• Build internal technical standards, knowledge bases, and case studies to strengthen aerospace machining capabilities.
• Drive process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, including cutting parameter optimization, toolpath refinement, and fixture improvements. 【任职资格】 1. 经验与背景
• 统招本科及以上，机械、飞行器制造、材料等相关专业。
• 8年以上精密机加工经验，其中3年以上航空零部件工程管理经验，且有5人以上团队管理经历。
• 主导过至少2个完整航空项目从NPI到量产的技术导入，熟悉AS9100与FAI流程。 2. 专业技能
• 熟悉铝合金、钛合金、复合材料及高硬材料等航空材料特性与加工难点。
• 熟练使用SolidWorks进行数模与图纸解析，了解主流编程软件原理。
• 熟练运用PFMEA、CPK、8D等质量工具，具备NCR分析与适航符合性意识。 3. 核心能力
• 具备出色的跨部门协调能力和客户技术沟通能力。
• 逻辑清晰，能够快速响应现场异常并做出可靠的技术判断。
• 英文听说读写能力强，可无障碍参与会议及处理图纸、规范和客户技术文件。 Required
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing, Materials, or a related field.
• 8+ years of precision machining experience, including 3+ years in engineering management for aerospace components, with experience leading teams of 5 or more.
• Proven experience leading at least two full aerospace programs from NPI through production, with strong knowledge of AS9100 and FAI processes. Desired
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials such as aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, composites, and hard-to-machine materials, including key processing challenges.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for CAD model and drawing interpretation, with a solid understanding of mainstream programming software principles.
• Skilled in PFMEA, CPK, 8D, and other quality tools, with hands-on experience in NCR analysis and airworthiness compliance. Key Competencies
