Engineering Manager

1. Production Support

• Provide technical support to production lines
• Troubleshoot machine and process problems
• Minimize downtime and improve productivity
• Support quality improvement initiatives

2. Equipment & Maintenance

• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance
• Manage machine repairs and spare parts
• Improve equipment reliability and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians and vendors

3. Process Improvement

• Analyze manufacturing processes
• Reduce waste, defects, and cycle time
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects
• Improve labor productivity and factory efficiency

4. New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Develop manufacturing processes for new products
• Design fixtures, tooling, and work instructions
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams
• Validate new equipment and production methods

5. Automation & Technology

• Implement automation systems
• Improve machine connectivity and data collection
• Develop digital manufacturing systems
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure machinery complies with safety regulations
• Conduct risk assessments
• Support environmental and energy-saving programs
• Maintain engineering documentation and standards

7. Project Management

• Manage factory expansion and improvement projects
• Control engineering budgets and schedules
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers
• Report project status to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, industrial engineering, or equipment engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of OEE, root cause analysis, process optimization, and productivity improvement.
• Experience with automation, machine control systems, data collection, and Industry 4.0 technologies is an advantage.
• Ability to manage engineering projects, including budgets, schedules, contractors, and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and other cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of machinery safety, risk assessment, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/production-related software.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
