Role & responsibilities

• Supervision of the operation & maintenance of Electrical supply & distribution installations, HVAC, DG Sets, Boilers, Chillers, BMS, & their repairs.
• Assign duties, prepare manpower duty rosters, and monitor attendance and work output regularly.
• Review data on complaint from users, ensure timely redressal of complaints. Plan and implement initiatives to improve timely complaint redressal and minimize complaints
• Coordinate & oversee the physical handover/ takeover of infrastructure & services from the project department to the O&M team
• Implement energy conservation measures, optimal manpower, spare parts & consumables utilization, management & cost control.
• Perform or arrange requisite tests and documentation for required statutory compliances and CTO and their timely submissions.
• Ensure that store and other internal/ corporate records are maintained properly as per extant corporate and departmental policy.
• Supervision of contractors work, inspections worked done by contractors to comply with the engineering designs, drawings/ instructions.
• Implement Preventive Maintenance Program (PPM) of all equipment and machines, ensure adherence to the PPM program, review and suggest improvements for better outcome.
• Coordinate and implement training for other operating departments on the safe & effective use of equipments & energy in the hospital
• Verification of completion of all repairs, replacements of all equipment periodically and as & when required.
• Monitor complaints from users, ensure timely redressal of complaints. Plan and coordinate activities, manpower deployment and spare stocks, to ensure timely complaint redressal and minimize complaints.
• Ensure adherence to all corporate policies & controls, by subordinate staff, worker and outside contractors.
• Selection, orientation and training of workers and staff as required/ directed.
• Upgrade professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops & participating in professional societies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate having 12-15 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large commercial establishment.
• Provide technical/ operational support for the operation & maintenance of the facility including all machinery & equipment such as Electrical supply & distribution installations, HVAC, Chillers, BMS, DG sets, Boilers, Lifts, Bore wells, Water treatment, Supply & Drainage System, Water & Fuel Storage System etc.
