Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for the design, development, engineering, and prototype manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage teams of skilled engineers in above areas.

• Develop and execute strategic plans for project execution and product development.

• Oversee entire project/product lifecycles, from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless project execution and successful product launches.

• Implement best practices in hardware, firmware and software development methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize engineering processes.

• Analyse requirements for new equipment, resources and training needs.

• Regularly communicate with clients for projects status, deliverables, issues, resolutions.

• Lead engineering meetings with clients.

• Develop external vendors and sub-contractors and build teams

  Requirements

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Electronics, Electronics Telecom or equivalent.

• Experience: 15 years or above with at least 3 years experience in a similar role.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Track record of delivering high-quality products within specified timelines.

• Proficient in project management tools.
