Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team to achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
• Review and manage packaging design such as Corrugated Box, Partition, Wooden Packaging, Steel Rack and Returnable Packaging.
• Analyze and design processes for Packaging, Warehouse and Logistics operations.
• Prepare Process Flow, Layout, Time Study, Manpower Study, Capacity Study and Work Instructions.
• Conduct Project Study, Cost Study, Cost Reduction, VA/VE and Productivity Improvement.
• Support the Business Development team in site surveys, requirement analysis and technical solution development.
• Plan and control Prototype, Trial, Validation and New Project Launch activities.
• Analyze business processes and prepare System Requirements for Logistics Systems for the IT Development team.
• Design Workflow, System Flow, Functions, Dashboard and Report Requirements.
• Work with the IT team on UAT, implementation and system improvement for solutions such as WMS, TMS, VMI, Inventory, Barcode/QR, Traceability and Logistics Dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to apply Automation, AI and Digital Technology to improve operations.
• Lead problem solving and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Customers, Operations, Business Development, Planning, Purchasing, IT and Suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of Engineering experience, with team management experience.
• Experience in Automotive, Packaging, Logistics, Warehouse or Manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Packaging Design, Process Improvement, Project Management and Cost Analysis.
• Good understanding of Warehouse and Logistics processes.
• Able to translate Business Requirements into clear System Requirements for the IT Development team.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, VMI, Barcode or Traceability systems is an advantage.
• Able to use SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant engineering software.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer presentation skills.
• Able to communicate in English for business purposes.
• Able to travel to customer sites when required.
