Engineering Manager

Title: Process & Automation Engineering Manager

Location: Mid-Atlantic region

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity within a F&B manufacturing operation undergoing significant expansion. You’ll lead a team of 8–10 Engineers while driving process performance, automation strategy, and the implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Lead and develop a team of Process, Controls & Automation Engineers

✅ Drive improvements in throughput, yield, process stability, product quality, equipment utilization, and overall manufacturing performance

✅ Lead the site’s controls and automation strategy , including programming standards, system architecture, manufacturing technology, and automation improvements

✅ Partner closely with Production, Maintenance & Reliability to troubleshoot technical issues, eliminate chronic losses, and improve equipment capability

✅ Support and lead commissioning, startup, validation, optimization, and implementation of new equipment, processes, and automation systems

✅ Help establish engineering standards and best practices within a growing manufacturing operation

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred

• 7+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience

• Experience leading Process, Controls, Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering teams

• Strong understanding of Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley/Rockwell controls

• Food, beverage, pharma or other regulated manufacturing experience

• Strong background in startup, commissioning, continuous improvement, and equipment optimization
