Engineering Manager

Location: Co. Louth | Full-Time | Permanent Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 DOE + Healthcare + Pension

THE ROLE: As Engineering Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team across mechanical, electrical and BIM disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on schedule and in line with customer expectations.

You will act as the key point of contact for customers throughout project delivery, managing design output, technical requirements, changes and variations while coordinating closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 11 engineering and design professionals
• Manage design programmes, resources and project deliverables
• Oversee design quality, technical compliance and customer specifications
• Act as the primary engineering contact for customers and stakeholders
• Manage design changes, variations and technical queries
• Coordinate activities across engineering, BIM, manufacturing and project teams
• Drive continuous improvement within the engineering function

THE PERSON: Ideally, you will have experience leading engineering or design teams within manufacturing, fabrication, modular construction, offsite construction or building services environments.

This role would suit candidates from engineering manufacturers, specialist fabricators, modular construction businesses or M&E contractors with experience delivering industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.

• Previous experience managing engineering or design teams
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Commercial awareness and experience handling project variations
• Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services background advantageous
