Engineering Manager

An opportunity to come in and manage a small to mid size team of engineers in a growing, multi site FMCG business. The Engineering Manager will have accountability for maintenance, projects, contractor management and compliance as well as driving reliability and continuous improvement projects on site, building on the work that has been done in transitioning the site from reactive to pro-active maintenance.

This role would suit either an established Engineering Manager or a Engineering Team Leader/Supervisor that is looking for their first Engineering Management role. This isn't an 'office' Engineering Management role and we are looking for a hands on leader who has retained strong hands on Engineering skills and can 'show and tell' and coach engineers where needed, particularly with electrically engineering.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing, coaching and supporting the engineering team
• Driving maintenance strategy
• Ensuring strong CMMS use and compliance
• CAPEX Project Management
• Engineering budgetary responsibility

So why join?

• High levels of autonomy and accountability for the function.
• Suitable for those looking to step up into their 1st Engineering Management role as well as current Engineering Managers
• Strong bonus scheme and wider benefits package
• Future multi site opportunity and scope internationally
• Commercially successful, multi channel business that is growing
