Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities:-

• Manage all on-site engineering activities, including quick fixes, maintenance requests, and facility upgrades.
• Prepare engineering scope documents, budgets, specifications, schedules, and Requests for Proposals.
• Participate in engineering, design, and construction review processes to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
• Conduct value-engineering studies to identify cost-effective and efficient design alternatives.
• Follow up on any projects related to renovations at the hospital.
• Create and implement a preventive maintenance plan to cover all the hospital.
• Interact closely with internal hospital teams to understand project needs and ensure objectives are met.
• Coordinate and manage the performance of consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
• Ensure engineering and construction solutions enhance hospital services, patient safety, and comfort.
• Review and monitor contracts, invoices, and Bills of Quantities to ensure compliance with hospital standards and budgets.
• Support adherence to hospital safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide continuous technical oversight to identify improvement opportunities and implement engineering best practices.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5to 7 years of experience in engineering management in large facilities.
• Knowledge of Construction project management, design review, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of general hospital engineering operations.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and decision making for quick fixes and complex engineering issues.
