As part of our growing presence in India, we are building a strong Development & IT organization to complement our global engineering teams. To support this ambition, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Big Data team.

Role Overview As an Engineering Manager, you will lead Backend Software Development teams to deliver on the product roadmap while working closely with key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in hiring and onboarding new team members, nurturing talent, and developing clear career growth plans for engineers within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Have agile mindset, easy adapt to changes, comfortable to work in a dynamic environment.
• Prioritize, delegate and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables following on the Adform best practices and standards.
• Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance.
• Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers and stakeholders keeping them aligned on the delivery status.
• Ensure Adform values are being followed by the team members.

Required Experience & Skills

• Overall 10+ years of experience in mentoring technical teams either as Lead Developer or Engineering Manager
• Able to understand technical topics/terminologies of Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, Backend API
• Experience of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus
• Must have worked on micro services architecture API's
• Ability to provide technical guidance to development team during solution implementation.
